Ribbed Belt TENSIONER, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove The Front Noise Insulation. Refer to FRONT NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLINGNoise Insulation .
-- Remove The Front Right Wheel Spoiler. Refer to FRONT WHEEL SPOILER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Audi RS6/RS7
-- Remove The Front Lower Coolant Pipe. Refer to LOWER FRONT COOLANT LINES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

CAUTION:
Risk Of Damage Due To Reversed Running Direction On A Used Ribbed Belt.
- Before removing ribbed belt, marking running direction with chalk or felt-tip pen for reinstallation later.
-- Swivel the tensioner in direction of -arrow- to release the tension on the ribbed belt.
-- Remove the ribbed belt from the generator and secure the tensioner with :T10060A .
-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2-.
-- Remove the ribbed belt tensioning damper from the oil pan upper section.
