Auxiliary Battery A1

Applies only to Hybrid vehicles.

Procedure:

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to VEHICLE DIAGNOSTIC TESTER, CONNECTING .

-- Select the Diagnostic mode and start the diagnosis.

-- Perform the vehicle identification.

-- Set v and press Accept to select " Work with Guided Fault Finding ".

-- Switch to the " Special Functions " tab and select the following program:

A - Auxiliary Battery A1, Checks

-- Start the program using Perform test... .

-- Continue the program sequence.

-- The following actions are derived from the test result:

Vehicle Diagnostic Tester result:	Action:
"Battery is OK"	No further action is necessary.
"Battery, Charging"	Charge the battery. Refer to BATTERY, CHARGING .
"Battery no longer meets the delivery quality"	Replace the battery. Refer to BATTERY, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

NOTE:

A functioning network connection is required for sending the diagnostic log online.
