Coolant Pipe On Bottom Of Transmission, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With S TRONIC Transmission 0CK: Removing

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

WARNING:

Risk of scalding due to hot steam and hot coolant.

The coolant system is under pressure when the engine is warm.
Cover the coolant reservoir cap with a cloth and then open it slowly to release the pressure.

-- Remove the cap -arrow- from the coolant reservoir.

-- Remove the rear noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION .

-- Clamp off the coolant hose -arrow- with the :3094 .

-- Place the :VAS6208 under separating point.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Loosen the hose clamp -2-, then clamp off the coolant hose with the :3094 and remove.

-- Loosen the hose clamp -1- and remove the coolant pipe.
