Overview - Pressure Sensor

CAUTION:

It is mandatory for run-flat tires to have a tire pressure monitoring system in the vehicle.

The wheel electronics, thus the system pressure sensor creates a physical unit with the valve.

  1. Tire Pressure Sensor
    • Left Front Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor -G222-
    • Right Front Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor -G223-
    • Left Rear Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor -G224-
    • Right Rear Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor -G225-
    • Batteries must be completely replaced.
    • Remaining battery life, temperature and pressure can be read via diagnosis using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
  2. Bolt

    4 Nm

    NOTE:

    Only used on Beru systems

    • Microencapsulated
    • Supplied as a replacement part complete with sensor
  3. Metal Valve
  4. Valve Insert
  5. Rim
  6. Union Nut
  7. Valve cap
    NOTE:

    Always replace if damaged

WARNING:

If tire sealant was used, then the wheel electronics on that particular wheel must be replaced.
