NOTE:

Pay attention to clean working conditions for the transmission. Refer to GUIDELINES FOR CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .

-- Remove the subframe crossbrace. Refer to SUBFRAME .

CAUTION:

The suspension components could be damaged.

Do not rest the vehicle on its wheels if the subframe mount, the steering gear or the subframe crossbrace are not installed correctly.

-- Mount the :T10337 on the :VAS6931 and attach it under the transmission.

-- Raise the transmission slightly.

WARNING:

There is the risk of an accident.

The :VAS6931 may only be used during assembly and must not sit unsupervised under the vehicle.

-- Remove the transmission support with the transmission mount. Refer to SUBFRAME MOUNT [For engine(s) CYNB] or SUBFRAME MOUNT [For engine(s) CREC, CREH] or SUBFRAME MOUNT [For engine(s) CTGE, CEUC] or SUBFRAME MOUNT [For engine(s) CPNB] or .

-- Drain the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF). Refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID (ATF), DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Remove the bolts from the ATF pan in the following sequence: -12 through 1-.
