Overview - Emissions Control

Catalytic Converter
- Protect from shocks and impact stress
- Removing and installing. Refer to CATALYTIC CONVERTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Individual components of suspension. Refer to Fig 2
Seal
- Replace after removing
Exhaust Manifold
- Removing and installing. Refer to EXHAUST MANIFOLD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Nut
- 23 Nm
- Replace after removing
- Coat the thread with hot bolt paste. Refer to the parts information.
Seal
- Replace after removing
Nut
- Tightening specification. Refer to -item 9-.
Front Muffler
- With decoupling element, decoupling element must not be bent more than 10° - otherwise it may be damaged
- Removing and installing. Refer to FRONT MUFFLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Exhaust system, installing without tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
