Overview - Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) Circuit: Notes

CAUTION:
Danger of causing damage to the transmission.
- Remove all the plugs on the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) pipes and on the transmission that were installed during removal.
- The Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) cooling function will not work and the transmission will be damaged if the plugs are forgotten.
- Clip
- O-Ring
- Always replace
- Coat with ATF before installing
- ATF Cooler
- Removing and installing. Refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID (ATF) COOLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Bolt
- 8 Nm
- O-Ring
- Always replace
- Coat with ATF before installing
- Clip
- O-Ring
- Always replace
- Coat with ATF before installing
- ATF Line
- Cleaning. Refer to Clean .
- Install all the way by hand with new O-rings.
- Bolt
- 20 Nm
- First insert the ATF pipes with new O-rings by hand as far as the stop
- The retaining tab on the lower ATF pipe must lie on the transmission threads
- The retaining tab on the upper ATF pipe must touch the lower one.
- Bolt
- 8 Nm
- O-Ring
- Always replace
- Coat with ATF before installing
- ATF Line
- Cleaning. Refer to Clean .
- Install all the way by hand with new O-rings.
- Bolt
- 8 Nm
