Vehicles with 4-Cylinder TDI Engine

-- Loosen the torque support bolts -1-.

-- Lift the transmission and install the tunnel crossmember. Refer to OVERVIEW - SUBFRAME MOUNT .

-- Adjust the torque support -2- and tighten. Refer to SUBFRAME MOUNT [For engine(s) CYNB] or SUBFRAME MOUNT [For engine(s) CPNB] .

All Vehicles 

-- Install the tunnel crossmember. Refer to OVERVIEW - SUBFRAME MOUNT .

-- Lower the :VAS6931  with the :T40173  and set aside.

CAUTION:

Vibrations or rattling noises when driving may be a result of a tightly bolted flywheel.

  • The sequence of steps must always be followed in order.
  • The flywheel must rest flat on the drive plate when screwing in the first bolt.

-- Turn the crankshaft on the vibration damper 360° in the direction of engine rotation -arrow-.
