Selector Mechanism, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following: 

-- Install the selector mechanism and tighten it from the top.

-- Install selector lever cable. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Adjust the selector lever cable. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, ADJUSTING .

-- Install the selective catalytic reduction catalytic converter. Refer to CATALYTIC CONVERTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [For engine(s) CYNB] .

-- Check the selector mechanism. Refer to SELECTOR MECHANISM, CHECKING .

-- Install the front ashtray or storage compartment. Refer to FRONT CENTER CONSOLE STORAGE COMPARTMENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the selector lever handle. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER HANDLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
