Safety Precautions When Working On Fuel Injection And PREGLOW System

To reduce the risk of personal injury and/or damage to the fuel injection and preglow system, always observe the following:

Individuals with a pacemaker must not stay in the danger area of high voltage systems, for example Piezo systems, xenon light.
The ignition must be switched off before connecting or disconnecting injection and preglow system wiring or tester cables.
Fuel lines must not be opened when engine is running.
Wash the engine only when the ignition is turned off.
During some checks it is possible that the Engine Control Module (ECM) will detect and store a fault. After completing all testing and repairs, "check the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory".
