Overview - High Pressure Pump

- Nut
- 70 Nm
- To loosen, counterhold the adapter -2- using the High Pressure Pump Shaft Holder :T40248 or the High Pressure Pump Shaft Holder :T40292 .
- Adapter
- For high pressure pump chain sprocket
- Different adapters may be installed depending on the date of manufacture
- To loosen the nut -1-, use the High Pressure Pump Shaft Holder :T40248 or High Pressure Pump Shaft Holder :T40292
- Modify the new high pressure pump when replacing the (old) high pressure pump.

- Replacing
- High Pressure PumpCAUTION:
Danger of malfunction caused by dirt.
- Observe, refer to FUEL SYSTEM SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
Letting the high pressure pump run dry will damage it.
- The high pressure pump must be filled with fuel after installing, but before the engine is started for the first time, refer to FUEL TANK, FILLING WITH FUEL AFTER INSTALLING HIGH PRESSURE PUMP .
- Removing and installing, refer to HIGH PRESSURE PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- High Pressure Line
- 25 Nm
- Do not change the shape of the line
- Check for damage before installing
- The high pressure line also needs to be replaced when replacing the high pressure pump.
- Installing, refer to HIGH PRESSURE LINES, INSTALLING .
- Coat the thread on the union nut with clean engine oil.
- Fuel Supply Hose
- Fuel Return Hose
- O-Ring
- Replacing
- Fuel Temperature Sensor -G81-
- 2 Nm
- High Pressure Line
- 25 Nm
- Do not change the shape of the line
- Check for damage before installing
- The high pressure line also needs to be replaced when replacing the high pressure pump.
- Installing, refer to HIGH PRESSURE LINES, INSTALLING .
- Coat the thread on the union nut with clean engine oil.
- Bolt
- 22 Nm
