Rear Shock Absorber: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
  2. Remove the luggage floor mat.
  3. Remove the strut cap of the quarter trim.
  4. Lift up the vehicle, and then remove the rear wheels.
  5. Disconnect the connector, and then remove the nut to remove the rear vehicle height sensor, (model with auto headlight beam leveler, left side only)

  6. Remove the nut and disconnect the rear stabilizer link.
  7. Remove the shock absorber lower bolt.
  8. Disconnect the rear lateral link.

  9. Remove the shock absorber mount nut.

  10. Remove the shock absorber.
