Removal And Installation

- 1.
Remove the power liftgate rod assembly. For additional information, refer to Power Liftgate Rod .
- 3.
Remove the power liftgate retaining fasteners and the power liftgate motor assembly.- To install, tighten the retaining bolt to 10.5 Nm (93 lb-in).
- To install, tighten the retaining nuts to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
- 4.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.- Initialize the power liftgate. For additional information, refer to Power Liftgate Initialization .
