Fuel Level Sensor G , removing and installing

Removing

Observe safety precautions → Safety precautions when working on fuel supply system .

Observe rules for cleanliness → Rules for cleanliness .

Remove fuel delivery unit → Fuel delivery unit, removing and installing .

CAUTION: Before remove electrical connectors on Fuel Level Sensor G , first release contact retaining tabs.

Disengage electrical connector retaining tabs - 1 - and - 2 - and disconnect them.
Pry on retaining tabs - 3 - and - 4 - with a screwdriver and pull fuel level sensor G off downward - arrow -.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Insert fuel level sensor G into guides on fuel delivery unit and push up until it engages.
Connect electrical connections and check that they are securely engaged.
Install fuel delivery unit Installing .
