Over-Center Spring: Removing

-- Remove the instrument panel cover on the driver side. Refer to STORAGE COMPARTMENTS AND COVERS .

-- Disconnect the connector -C-, if applicable.

-- Remove the bolts -A- and the left footwell vent -B-. Refer to the appropriate service information .

-- Actuate the clutch pedal -1- in direction of -arrow-. Press the T40025 over the stretched over-center spring -2-.

-- Press the clutch pedal -1- down as far as the stop and insert the over-center spring -2- with the T40025.
