4-Cylinder 2.0L TFSI Gasoline Engine, Version 2: Removing

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING .

-- Remove the Heated Oxygen Sensor -G39- -1- connector from the mount.

NOTE:

Ignore items -2 through 4-.

-- Disengage the connector -1 through 4- and at the same time remove all of the plugs from the ignition coils in -direction of arrow-.

-- Remove ignition coil bolts -arrows-.

-- Carefully remove ignition coils upward.

NOTE:

Note the installed position of ignition coils with power output stages.

Be careful to not kink or damage the wiring.

-- Remove spark plugs with Spark Plug Removal Tool VAS 3122B.
