4-Cylinder 2.0L TFSI Gasoline Engine, Version 1: Removing

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING .
-- Remove bolts -1- from the connector strip.
-- Push connector -2- toward the ignition coil, while at the same time disengaging the locking mechanism and removing the connector.
-- Position the Ignition Coil Puller T40039 on the topmost thick rib -arrow- and remove the ignition coils from the spark plugs in sequence.
NOTE:
Pay attention to the installed position of the ignition coils.
Be careful to not kink or damage the wiring.
-- Remove spark plugs with Spark Plug Removal Tool VAS 3122B.
