Front Noise Insulation, Removing And Installing

Removing

-- Remove bolts -4 and 7- and bolts on the lower wheel housing liner (3x on each side).

-- Turn quick-release connectors -6- 180° to the left and loosen them.

-- Remove the front noise insulation to the rear under the bumper.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Pay attention to the tightening specifications.

NOTE:

The quick-release connectors must engage when they are mounted.

For vehicles with an auxiliary heater: Make sure the exhaust pipe is installed correctly in the noise insulation.

Bolt	Tightening specification
Bolts in positions 4 and 7	2.5 Nm
Wheel housing liner bolts	2 Nm
