Battery Charge With ODIS, Checking

-- Connect the Vehicle diagnostic tester. Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester, CONNECTING .

-- Select Diagnosis operating mode and start diagnosis.

-- Select the VIN.

-- Remove V and press Accept to deselect "Work with guided fault finding".

-- Continue following the program procedure.

NOTE:

Observe directions and test conditions.

-- Select Special functions tab.

-- Select "A - Auxiliary Battery, Test" program and start with Perfrom test... .

-- Select type of battery test based upon the service.

-- Continue following the program procedure.

NOTE:

This will be followed by some questions and preparatory battery test work procedures.

After confirming the visual inspection, the results of the condition check will be displayed.

-- Send the diagnostic protocol online.

If tester display shows charge or replace battery, refer to BATTERY, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
