1. Nut
   • Replace
   • Lubricate with hot bolt paste. For the correct hot bolt paste .
   • Tightening specification and sequence, refer to Fig 2 and Fig 3
2. Bracket for Heat Shield
3. Exhaust Manifold
   • Removing and installing:
     • Left, refer to LEFT EXHAUST MANIFOLD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
     • Right, vehicles with automatic transmission 0B6, refer to RIGHT EXHAUST MANIFOLD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION 0B6 .
4. Seal
   • Replace
5. Heat Shield
6. Bolt
   • 10 Nm
7. Oxygen Sensor Before Catalytic Converter
   • Bank 1 (right) Heated Oxygen Sensor -G39-, bank 2 (left) Heated Oxygen Sensor 2 -G108-
   • Removing and installing, refer to HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
8. Catalytic Converter
   • Protect from shocks and impact stress
   • Overview, refer to OVERVIEW - MUFFLER .
9. Nut
   • 23 Nm
   • Replace
   • Lubricate with hot bolt paste. For the correct hot bolt paste .
10. Seal
    • Replace

-- Tighten nuts in 3 stages in -1 to 9- sequence as follows:-- Install the bolts all the way in by hand.-- Pre-tighten to 15 Nm.-- Tighten to 25 Nm.

-- Tighten nuts in 3 stages in -1 to 9- sequence as follows:-- Install the bolts all the way in by hand.-- Pre-tighten to 15 Nm.-- Tighten to 25 Nm.
