Left Catalytic Converter, Removing And Installing, DSG Transmission 0B5: Installing

Tightening specifications, refer to OVERVIEW - MUFFLER .

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Replace the seals and self-locking nuts.

-- Install the secondary air combination valve heat shield, refer to Figure.

-- Attach the universal joint to the steering gear, refer to STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the driveshaft heat shield, refer to Fig 1.

-- Install the driveshaft cover .

-- Install the front wheel, wheel bolts, Tightening Specification: 140 Nm .

-- Install the left front muffler, refer to FRONT MUFFLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the plenum chamber bulkhead, refer to OVERVIEW - BULKHEAD .

-- Install the Oxygen Sensor 2 after Catalytic Converter -G131-, refer to Oxygen Sensor 2 after Catalytic Converter -G131-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, BANK 2, LEFT .

-- Install the tower brace, refer to TOWER BRACE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
