Installed location: The diagnostic connection for the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in inside the footwell on the driver side.

Installed location: The Mechatronic unit is bolted to the bottom of the transmission housing and is covered by the ATF pan.

The Mechatronic includes the hydraulic control, the electronic control and sensors and actuators as a complete synchronized unit. It contains the following:

Automatic Transmission Pressure Regulating Valve 6 -N371-
Transmission Output Speed Sensor -G195-
Automatic Transmission Pressure Regulating Valve 3 -N217-

Only the complete "Mechatronic" unit can be replaced.

Transmission Range Display -Y6-

Installed location: The Transmission Range Display -Y6- is integrated in the instrument cluster.

NOTE:

Replace the instrument cluster if one of the transmission range displays is faulty, refer to the appropriate Service Information .

The Selector Lever Sensor System Control Module -J587- -2- is clipped to the gearshift mechanism function unit -arrows-.

Refer to Selector Lever Sensor System Control Module -J587-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Installed location: The Shift Lock Solenoid -N110- -1- is clipped to the selector mechanism.

Installed location: The Transmission Park Selector Switch -F305-, which consists of two reed contacts -1 and 2-, is installed on the circuit board -B- on the Shift Lock Solenoid -N110- -A-.

NOTE:

The Transmission Park Selector Switch -F305- can only be replaced together with the Shift Lock Solenoid -N110-.

Refer to Shift Lock Solenoid -N110-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

NOTE:

A specific value from the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor -G79- and the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor 2 -G185- is stored in the engine control module.

Component location: accelerator pedal position sensors are integrated inside the accelerator pedal module -arrow-.

NOTE:

The accelerator pedal module must be replaced if the accelerator pedal position sensor is faulty, refer to OVERVIEW - ACCELERATOR PEDAL MECHANISM for CAEB, CPMB, CPMA, CTUC and CTUD, or ACCELERATOR PEDAL MECHANISM for CPNB

Component location: The Selector Lever Transmission Range Position Display Unit -Y26- -item 1- is clipped inside the center console.
