Rear Flange Shaft Seal On The Transmission: Removing

Remove the center differential housing -B-. Refer to CENTER DIFFERENTIAL HOUSING AND CENTER DIFFERENTIAL WITH TRANSMISSION INSTALLED .

Remove the circlip -arrow-.

Remove the flange shaft

-- Position the center differential housing so the flange shaft does not come into contact with the VW 401 and VW 402 when pressing it off.

Pry out the shaft seal -1-.
