Turbocharger, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With Engine Code CGQB: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening specifications:

Refer to OVERVIEW - TURBOCHARGER, VEHICLES WITH ENGINE CODE CGQB .
Refer to Fig 1.
Refer to Figure.

NOTE:

Replace the seals and O-rings.

Fill the turbocharger at the oil supply line connections with engine oil.

Secure all hose connections with hose clamps of the same type as those equipped by the factory.

To ensure the turbocharger is supplied with enough oil, let the engine run at idle for approximately 1 minute after installing the turbocharger assembly. Do not increase the engine speed during this time.

-- Electrical connections and wiring routing, refer to appropriate SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAM.

-- Install the front exhaust pipe, refer to FRONT EXHAUST PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH ENGINE CODE CGQB .

-- Install the air guide pipe, refer to OVERVIEW - CHARGE AIR SYSTEM .

-- Install the air guide, refer to OVERVIEW - AIR FILTER HOUSING .

-- Fill with coolant, refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING and CHECK THE COOLANT LEVEL .
