Left Upper Timing Chain Cover, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the particulate filter, refer to PARTICULATE FILTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH ENGINE CODE CDUD .

-- Remove the left cylinder head cover, refer to LEFT CYLINDER HEAD COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If equipped: remove the bolts -1 and 2- and then remove the heat shield.

-- Loosen the bolts in sequence -7 to 1-.

-- Carefully loosen and remove the left upper timing chain cover from the bond.
