Oil Pump And High Pressure Pump Drive Chain, Removing And Installing: Installing

Secure crankshaft -1- in "TDC" position using Locking Pin For Crankshaft T40237.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Stop the high pressure pump chain sprocket with the Locking Pin T40245.

NOTE:

The illustration shows the chain sprocket with the lower timing chain cover installed.

-- Install camshaft timing chain, refer to CAMSHAFT TIMING CHAIN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the Locking Pin T40245 for the high pressure pump chain sprocket.

-- Install the timing chain cover lower section, refer to LOWER TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
