Fuel Delivery Unit/Fuel Level Sensor Assembly Overview, 4-Cylinder And 6-Cylinder Generation I Engines

- Fuel Delivery Unit
- Checking Transfer Fuel Pump -G6-, refer to Transfer Fuel Pump -G6-, CHECKING .
- Removing and installing, refer to FUEL DELIVERY UNIT/FUEL LEVEL SENSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Fill the fuel tank with at least 5 liters (1.32 gallons) of fuel after installing
- Seal
- Replace
- Install dry
- Locking Ring
- Tighten to 120 Nm
- Remove and install with the Wrench - Fuel Sending Unit T10202
- Fuel Line
- To the metering pump on vehicles with an auxiliary heater
- Do not kink
- Press the release button to remove from the sealing flange
- Clipped to the fuel tank
- Fuel Supply Line
- To the regulator valve
- Do not kink
- Press the release button to remove from the sealing flange
- Note direction of arrow (fuel supply or return) on locking flange when installing
- Clipped to the fuel tank
- Fuel Return Line
- From the regulator valve
- Do not kink
- Press the release button to remove from the sealing flange
- Note direction of arrow (fuel supply or return) on locking flange when installing
- Clipped to the fuel tank
- Connector
- For the Transfer Fuel Pump -G6- and the Fuel Level Sensor -G-
- Fuel Level Sensor -G-
- For checking the resistance values, refer to Fuel Level Sensor -G-, CHECKING .
- Removing and installing, refer to Fuel Level Sensor -G-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
