Overview - Upper Transverse Link, Tie Rod, Coil Spring, Lower Transverse Link And Level Control System Sensor

- 70 Nm +180°
- Always replace if removed
- Must be tightened in the curb weight position, refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CURB WEIGHT, LIFTING VEHICLES WITH COIL SPRING .
Bracket
Left Rear Level Control System Sensor -G76-
- Only sensors of the same version may be installed.
- Complete with components
- The sensor lever points toward the outside
- Replace in vehicle, refer to LEVEL CONTROL SYSTEM SENSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
- Check the basic setting of the headlamp adjustment after loosening, refer to HID HEADLAMP, ADJUSTING, ADJUSTING, USA VEHICLES or HID HEADLAMPS, ADJUSTING, REST-OF-WORLD VEHICLES .
- If the level control system sensor was removed and installed on a vehicle with electronically controlled damping or if the linkage was loosened, the control position must be reprogrammed using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester, refer to CONTROL POSITION, REPROGRAMMING USING Vehicle Diagnostic Tester .
- If the control position was reprogrammed on vehicles with lane assist, the Directional Stabilization Assistance Control Module -J759- must be calibrated again, refer to CALIBRATION PROCEDURE .

- Always replace if removed
- Must be tightened in the curb weight position, refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CURB WEIGHT, LIFTING VEHICLES WITH COIL SPRING .
Upper Transverse Link
- Removing and installing, refer to UPPER TRANSVERSE LINK, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Nut
- Always replace if removed
Shim
Nut
- 95 Nm
- Always replace if removed
- Must be tightened in the curb weight position, refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CURB WEIGHT, LIFTING VEHICLES WITH COIL SPRING .
Adjusting Screw
Lower Transverse Link
- Removing and installing, refer to LOWER TRANSVERSE LINK, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bolt
- 120 Nm +360°
- Always replace if removed
- Must be tightened in the curb weight position, refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CURB WEIGHT, LIFTING VEHICLES WITH COIL SPRING .
  NOTE:
  Axle alignment is necessary if the bolt is removed.

Coil Spring
- There are different versions of the suspension, refer to PRODUCTION CONTROL NUMBER (PR NUMBER) EXPLANATIONS .
- Removing and installing, refer to COIL SPRING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

  CAUTION:
  - Do not tighten the threaded connection using the nut.
  NOTE:
  Axle alignment is necessary if the nut is loosened.

- Must be tightened in the curb weight position, refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CURB WEIGHT, LIFTING VEHICLES WITH COIL SPRING .
Tie Rod
- Removing and installing, refer to TIE ROD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Note the installation position, refer to INSTALLING .
- There are versions made of aluminum and steel.
- A mixed installation is not permitted
