Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1 -G235-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

WARNING:

When working on the whole exhaust system:

NOTE:

When installing, bring all cable ties back to same positions.

When removing the wire do not cut it, in this case a fault diagnosis will no longer be possible.

-- Remove the plenum chamber bulkhead, refer to OVERVIEW - BULKHEAD .

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the air guide hose with Mass Air Flow Sensor -G70- by loosening hose clamp -2- and opening clips -arrows-.

CAUTION:

Depending on the vehicle equipment level and market-specific crankcase ventilation hose may be used, which cannot be removed from the cylinder head cover without being destroyed. In these versions the hose on the cylinder head cover is destroyed and replaced.

-- Remove the hose -1- for the crankcase ventilation, to do so -if equipped- press the release button or the damage the hose connection on the cylinder head cover.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and then remove the support from the turbocharger.

-- Remove the connector -2- from the bracket and disconnect it.

-- Remove the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1 -G235- -1- with a tool from the Diesel Engine Tool Set - 17mm T10395 A.
