Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Washer Jet Setting Tool T40187 equipped with Replacement Tips For T101273125/5A
Procedure
WARNING:
Risk of injury.
- If the Washer Jet Setting Tool T40187 is not used, ensure that both sides are always covered and secured by covers -3- and -4-.
- If one side is not secured by the cover, injury can be caused by the Replacement Tips For T101273125/5A -1- or adjusting pin -2-.
- When opening each side, always ensure that the other side is not pointing toward the hand.
WARNING:
Danger of unintended engine ignition
Turn off the ignition and remove the ignition key from the vehicle interior for all work performed on the high voltage vehicle.
-- Unlock long cover -1- on the Washer Jet Setting Tool T40187 -arrow A- and push it back -arrow B-.
-- Adjust the spray nozzles with the Windshield Wash Aiming Tool T10127 so that the fluid is sprayed onto the places shown on the rear window.
- Dimension -a- = 130 mm.
- Dimension -b- = 10 mm.
- Dimension -c- = 255 mm.
