-- Remove the generator -1-, refer to GENERATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH 3.0L TDI ENGINE .

-- Remove the right front wheel housing liner -1-, refer to WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

-- Position the Engine Support Bridge 10-222A on the left and right suspension strut towers as illustrated.

-- Free up the vacuum hose.

-- Attach the Engine Support Bridge - Spindle10-222A/11 to the right rear engine lifting eye.

-- Lightly pretension the engine using the spindle.

-- Remove the connector -arrow- from the bracket and disconnect it.

-- Remove the nut -2- and free up the electrical wiring bracket.

-- Remove the bolts -1, 2 and 4- and lay the right engine mount retaining plate -3- aside.

-- If installed, remove the bolts -arrow-, Press stop -1- for the torque support towards the engine.

-- Lift the engine using the right Engine Support Bridge - Spindle10-222A/11 -1- to dimension -a-.

• Dimension -a- = 25 mm.

-- Remove the right engine mount.
