Left Engine Mount, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Place the Used Oil Collection and Extraction Unit SMN372500 under the engine.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and move oil cooler to the side with the coolant hoses -1 and 2- still connected.

-- Vehicles with after-run coolant pump: remove the After-Run Coolant Pump -V51- (refer to After-Run Coolant Pump -V51-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ) and engine oil cooler, refer to ENGINE OIL COOLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the Air Conditioning (A/C) compressor, refer to A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ON BRACKET .

-- Remove the rear engine cover in direction of -top arrows-.

-- Install the Engine Support Bridge 10-222A with the Engine Support - Movable Joint T40091/3 on the left and right suspension strut tower, as shown in the illustration.

-- Engage the Engine Support Bridge - Spindle10-222A /11 on the right engine lifting eye.

-- Install additional Engine Support Bridge 10-222A components as shown in the illustration. Position the Engine Support Brackets T40093/3 on the notches on the longitudinal members.

-- Engage the Engine Support Bridge - Spindle10-222A/11 on the left engine lifting eye.

-- Lightly pretension engine with spindles.

-- Remove the nut -2- and free up the bracket -1-.

-- Remove the left subframe bolt -2-.

-- Remove the left engine mount bolts -1, 3 and 4-.

-- Move the left engine mount retaining plate -2- to the side.

-- Remove the left engine mount.
