Procedure

WARNING:

Danger of malfunction caused by dirt.

Refer to FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

-- Remove the engine cover.

-- Remove the fuel return hose -2-.

NOTE:

Ignore items -1 and 3-.

-- Seal off the open return connection with a hose -2- and Hose Clamps up to 25 mm Diameter 3094.

-- Connect another assisting hose -1- to the fuel return hose and hold in a measuring container.

-- Start the engine and let it run in idle.

Return quantity when starting: 0 ml.
Return quantity in two minutes: 30 to 55 ml.

The Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276- is faulty if the target values are not reached.
