Cylinder Block, Assembly Overview, Non-Hybrid Vehicles With The Engine Code CDZA

1. Ribbed Belt
   • Check for wear
   • Do not kink
   • Ribbed belt routing Fig 3
     CAUTION:

     Risk of damage due to reversed running direction on a used ribbed belt.

     • Before removing ribbed belt, marking running direction with chalk or felt-tip pen for reinstallation later.
   • Removing and installing, refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, HYBRID VEHICLES WITH ENGINE CODE CHJA .
   • When installing, make sure it is seated correctly on the pulleys
2. Ribbed belt tensioner
   • To release tension on ribbed belt, pivot using a wrench.
   • Secure using Locking Pin T10060A
   • Removing and installing, refer to RIBBED BELT TENSIONING DAMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, NON-HYBRID VEHICLES WITH THE ENGINE CODE CDZA .
3. Bolt
   • Replacing
   • 8 Nm + 45° additional turn
4. Bolt
   • Replacing
   • Coat the O-ring with oil.
   • 150 Nm +90°
   • Use the Counterhold - Vibration Damper T10475 to loosen and tighten
5. O-Ring
   • Not a replacement part; supplied with the bolt
6. Vibration damper
   • With ribbed belt pulley
   • Removing and installing, refer to VIBRATION DAMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING NON-HYBRID VEHICLES .
7. Auxiliary Components Bracket
   • With oil filter and engine oil cooler
   • Auxiliary components bracket, removing and installing, refer to AUXILIARY COMPONENTS BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, NON-HYBRID VEHICLES WITH THE ENGINE CODE CDZA .
   • Removing and installing the engine oil cooler, refer to ENGINE OIL COOLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
8. Seal
   • Replacing
9. Bolt
   • Tightening specification and sequence Fig 2.
10. Bolt
    • Tightening specification, refer to OVERVIEW - GENERATOR .
11. Generator
    • Removing and installing, refer to GENERATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
12. Alignment Sleeve
    • For A/C compressor
13. A/C Compressor
    • Do not remove or disconnect refrigerant lines
    • Removing and Installing .
14. Bolt
    • Tightening specifications .

-- Mount the accessory assembly bracket and then mount the bolts -4-.

-- Tighten bolts in three stages in -1 through 5- sequence as follows:
