Printed Circuit Board, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Turn the light switch to position "0".

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

-- Do not touch the flasher.

-- On the right: remove the air filter housing, refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Open the clip -1-.

-- Pivot the housing cover -2- to the side -arrow-.

-- To remove the expanding clips -arrows-, carefully push the pin -1- to dimension -x- until it audibly engages into the expanding clip -arrow A-.

Dimension -x- = 5 mm.

-- Remove the unlocked expanding clip -2- and the pin.

-- Lift the lock carrier cover -3- and engage it on the radiator grille.

-- Remove bolts -2- and -4-.

-- Loosen the bolt -3- three turns.

-- Push the headlamp housing -1- forward all the way in direction of -arrow-.

-- Remove the housing cover.

NOTE:

If the headlamp housing cannot be pushed all the way forward, then the connector must be disconnected.

-- Open the retaining tab -3- and pull the circuit board -2- slightly out from its mount -4-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the circuit board.
