Vacuum Pump, Removing And Installing, 3.0L TDI Engine: Removing

-- Remove the engine cover carefully from the retaining pins, one after another.
-- Remove the right diagonal tower brace.
-- Loosens the hose clamp on the vacuum hose.
-- Remove the vacuum hose -1- from the pump -3-.
NOTE:
Do not remove the vacuum hose on the plenum chamber bulkhead -2-.
CAUTION:
Do not damage the vacuum hose. Replace the vacuum hose if damaged.
-- Remove all the bolts -arrows- on the vacuum pump sealing flange.
-- Remove the vacuum pump from the mount.
