High Pressure Pump, Removing And Installing, 2.0 L TDI Engine: Removing

-- Remove the engine cover.
-- Remove the diesel particulate filter pressure sensor -1- on the bracket.
-- Disconnect the wire -2- from the pressure sensor and carefully move it to the side.
-- Remove the double clip from the bracket.
-- Remove the pressure sensor bracket on the vacuum pump, 2 nuts.
NOTE:
There are two additional nuts under the pressure sensor bracket, which also must be removed.
-- Remove the coolant pipe from the vacuum pump stud and move it to the side.
-- Remove the vacuum hose form the vacuum pump.
-- Remove all the bolts on the vacuum pump sealing flange.
-- Remove the vacuum pump from the mount.
