Selector Lever Handle, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Press the button on the parking brake to activate it.
-- Move the selector lever into "N".
NOTE:
Both the selector lever handle and the selector lever boot are removed.
-- Carefully pry out the selector lever boot on the side in direction of -arrows- using the Trim Removal Wedge 3409 or a small screwdriver and then fold it upward.
-- Secure the locking button in the removed position with a cable tie -arrow-, as shown in the illustration.
-- Fold the selector lever boot -B- upward and over the selector lever handle -C-.
-- Open the clamps -A- and remove the selector lever handle along with the selector lever boot, without pressing the locking button.
