Overview - Selector Mechanism

- Before working on a running engine, move the selector lever to "P" and push the parking brake button in order to lock the electro-mechanical parking brake.
Before disassembling the selector mechanism, perform check, refer to SELECTOR MECHANISM, CHECKING .

- Selector Mechanism Function Unit
- Can only be replaced as a unit
- Refer to SELECTOR MECHANISM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
- Shift Lock Solenoid -N110-
- Transmission Park Selector Switch -F305-
- Consists of two micro-switches on the circuit board on the Shift Lock Solenoid - N110-.
- Can only be replaced together with the Shift Lock Solenoid -N110-, refer to Shift Lock Solenoid -N110-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Noise Insulation
- Not on all vehicles .
- Lock Washers
- For securing the noise insulation to the shift mechanism function unit
