Transmission Tightening Specifications
The tightening specifications apply only to lightly greased, oiled, phosphated or blackened nuts and bolts.
Additional lubricant such as engine oil or transmission fluid may be used, but do not use graphite lubricant.
Do not use any ungreased parts.
Tightening specification tolerance ± 15%.

Depending on the date of manufacture, an additional driveshaft heat shield -B- may be attached.
The shape of the additional heat shield depends on the engine and on the date of manufacture.
Mark the installed position of the additional heat shield -A- before removing it.
-- Note the marking when installing the heat shield -B-.
-- Tighten the driveshaft heat shield bolts -1, 2 and 3- to 23 Nm.

- The aluminum bolts -2 through 11- may be reused twice. Therefore, the bolts must be marked with two notches "X" made by a chisel after they have been used the first time -arrow-.
- Bolts marked with an "X" may not be used again.
