Coolant Pump, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Drain the coolant, refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Remove the front left coolant pipes, refer to FRONT LEFT COOLANT PIPES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -1- and -2- and the coolant pipes.

-- Remove the ribbed belt from the A/C compressor but do not remove it completely, refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the coolant hose -arrow- from the front coolant pipe by lifting the retaining clamp.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- for the coolant pump ribbed belt pulley by counterholding with a Wrench - Pin Type 3212.

-- Remove the bolts and remove the ribbed belt pulley.

-- Remove the Cylinder Head Coolant Valve -N489- -arrow- from the bracket and move it to the side.

-- Disconnect the vacuum hose -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and move the coolant pump to the side.
