Front Coolant Pipe, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening specifications:

Refer to OVERVIEW - COOLANT PIPES .
Refer to OVERVIEW - COOLANT PUMP/THERMOSTAT .

NOTE:

Replace the gaskets and O-rings.

Secure all hose connections with hose clamps of the same type as those equipped by the factory .

-- Clean or smooth the seal and O-ring sealing surfaces.

-- Coat the sealing rings and O-rings with coolant and then mount them on the coolant pipe.

-- Connect the coolant hose to the coupling, refer to Figure.

-- Install the vacuum pump .

-- Install the ribbed belt, refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the left front coolant pipes, refer to FRONT LEFT COOLANT PIPES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the lock carrier cover, refer to to LOCK CARRIER .

-- Fill the coolant, refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING => .
