Luggage Compartment Side Trim Panel, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Versions with screen separator: Remove the screen separator.

-- Fold the backrest forward.

-- Remove the rear cross panel trim. Refer to LOCK CARRIER TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, NON-HYBRID VEHICLES .

-- Remove the gap cover:

Vehicles without a retaining rail. Refer to GAP COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITHOUT A RETAINING TRACK .
Vehicles with retaining rail. Refer to GAP COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH A RETAINING TRACK .

-- Remove the rear backrest release and let the cable hang down. Refer to BACKREST LOCK ADJUSTMENT ACTUATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the luggage compartment lamp. Refer to Lamps .

-- Remove the coat hook. Refer to COAT HOOKS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the cover for the luggage compartment side panel.

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

-- Pry the luggage compartment side trim -1- using the Pry Lever 80-200 from the body -A arrows-.

-- Remove the luggage compartment side trim panel around the D-pillar -arrow B- and the rear sill trim strip -arrow C- using the Trim Removal Wedge 3409.
