Potential Equalization Cables

NOTE:

Check the contact surfaces on the potential equalization cable before installation.

The contact surfaces must be clean. There must be no rust or grease on them.

If needed, clean the contact surfaces using the Contact Surface Cleaning Set VAS6410. Refer to CONTACT SURFACE CLEANING SET VAS6410 .

Nut to battery tray tightening specification: 9 Nm

Nut to body tightening specification -1- : 18 Nm

Bolt tightening specification for Electric Drive Power and Control Electronics -JX1- : 18 Nm

Nut tightening specification on the body -1- : 20 Nm

-- Nut to body tightening specification -1- : 20 Nm.

-- Bolt tightening specification -3- : 20 Nm.

Nut to longitudinal member tightening specification -1- : 20 Nm

Nut to right engine support tightening specification -2- : 20 Nm

Bolt to body tightening specification -1- : 20 Nm

Bolt on final drive tightening specification -3- : 20 Nm
