-- Remove the backrest release actuator. Refer to BACKREST LOCK ADJUSTMENT ACTUATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Open the cover in the luggage compartment side trim panel.

-- Remove the nuts -1- and then remove the bracket -2-.
