Trim, Removing And Installing, Tunnel-Side: Removing

WARNING:
- Follow all Safety Precautions when working with pyrotechnic components. Refer to PYROTECHNIC COMPONENTS SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
- Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". This can be done by touching the door striker, for example.
-- Remove the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Attach the front seat to the Engine/Transmission Holder - Seat Repair Fixture VAS6136. Refer to FRONT SEAT, MOUNTING ON FIXTURE FOR SEAT REPAIR .
-- Remove the front seat belt latch. Refer to FRONT SEAT BELT LATCH, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Turn the front seat belt latch downward.
NOTE:
It is not necessary to disconnect or remove the electrical wire.
-- Remove expanding clip -2-.
-- Release the tab -arrow A- and remove the seat side trim -1- toward the outside -arrow B-.
-- Remove the seat side trim on the tunnel side in direction of -arrow C-.
