Oil cooler, removing and installing

Removing

Remove generator →
- 27 BATTERY, STARTER, GENERATOR, CRUISE CONTROL
- 27 BATTERY, STARTER, GENERATOR, CRUISE CONTROL for ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT, CABRIOLET

Remove bolts - arrows -.
Remove bracket for generator.

Disconnect coolant hose - 1 - from oil cooler.
Place old oil collecting and extracting device V.A.G 1782 under engine.
Remove bolts - arrows - and remove oil cooler.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

NOTE:

Replace O-rings.
Secure all hose connections using hose clamps appropriate for the model type .

When installing generator bracket, note the two alignment bushings.
Install generator →

- 27 BATTERY, STARTER, GENERATOR, CRUISE CONTROL for ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT, CABRIOLET
