Heated Oxygen Sensor -G39-: Removing

-- Pull rear engine cover off -arrows-.

-- Free up fuel supply line -4- and hose connection -1- to the Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister on the air filter housing and on the air guide tube.

-- Remove vacuum hose -2- from the air guide hose.

-- Remove air guide hose by loosening the hose clamp -3- and opening the clips -arrows-.

-- Remove lower section of the air filter housing. Refer to LOWER AIR FILTER HOUSING .

-- Disconnect electrical connector -4- for the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) -G39-.

-- Remove HO2S -- -1- using a tool from the 3337.
