Central Valve, Removing And Installing: Removing

The central valves are attached to the impact member under the bumper cover in the rear and on the left side.

-- Remove the rear bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

WARNING:

Always wear safety goggles!

NOTE:

The Dynamic Ride Control (DRC) lines must be extracted before disconnecting them from the central valve. Refer to DYNAMIC RIDE CONTROL (DRC), SYSTEM DRAINING AND FILLING .

Perform this step on both wiring harnesses on the central valve.

-- Remove the union nuts -7- and -8- or -11- and -12-, depending on the central valve.

-- Remove the screws -13- and the central valve.
