Overview - Oil Pan/Oil Pump

NOTE:
If large quantities of metal particles or other deposits such as those caused by partial seizure of the crankshaft or connecting rod damage are found in the engine oil, clean the oil channels thoroughly and replace the engine oil cooler to prevent further damage.

-- Tighten the bolts -1 through 19- in two stages as follows:
-- Tighten the bolts to 8 Nm.
-- Turn the bolts an additional 45°.
-- Tighten the bolts -1 through 13- in two stages as follows:
-- 1. Tighten the bolts to 15 Nm.
-- 2. Tighten the bolts an additional 90°.
-- Tighten the bolts to 9 Nm in the order -1 to 9-.
